Great bed, our morning soreness is gone

I purchased this because my wife was having back issues and I had a sore shoulder every morning. She likes a soft mattress while I like a firm one. I went with this one because it was advertised as "Plush" and she would appreciate it.The mattress arrived quickly and the packaging was pretty intact. It weighed a lot. I carried it myself but would recommend getting help if possible. I set it up on a new Zinus 14" platform. After unrolling, it expanded to 12 inches quick readily. We slept on it the first night. The first night, it was very soft. I found I was ok with it though. It was soft, but supportive enough. I’ve been tracking my sleep for months and my sleep improved right away. I also woke up to a, much less, sore shoulder. My wife reported less back pain the first day also. The next few days we improved more, and by the end of the week, had no more soreness upon waking in the morning. The bed did get firmer over the first 5 days. At one point, I thought it was going to be too firm but we still sunk in enough and had proper support. Memory foam mattresses are different in their feel than coils.I also noticed it was a bit warmer sleeping than our old mattress. it was not horrible, but it was warmer. I purchased some very nice cotton sheets and that took care of it. Pros:Cooler than some foam mattressesSoft yet firm. Always good feeling support for two people that prefer different levels of support.Reduced pressure on sore areasAffordableEasy to set upRemovable coverAppears to be durableCons:Slightly warm sleeping

Great Mattress! Worth Every Penny!

I’ve only had this bed for a few days, but it is really comfortable and quiet for you couples out there! So far, the bed is worth the money. It is like sleeping on a cloud. I Will update this review after I have slept on the mattress for awhile.I’ve been sleeping on the mattress for almost a month now. It is so comfortable! It comes with a really nice mattress cover. I let it decompress after shipping for 48 hours before I slept on it. Great buy for the money. I put mine on a 16 inch steel platform frame. It makes it really high off the floor which I wanted since I don’t move a lot while I sleep. A 10 or 12 inch frame is probably good for most people. I love it. I sleep so much better at night now. Worth every penny!Update: I bought this mattress 5 months ago and it is STILL so comfortable! My family loves this bed and want to get one for themselves too! Everyone thinks it should cost more than I paid for it. A great purchase.UpdateI have had this mattress for and year and a half now. It is still just as comfortable as when I first slept on it. It is one of the best purchases I made online. I may buy another one in the future for another bedroom in my home. It was worth every last cent I paid for it! I sleep better than I have in years.UpdateI purchased this bed almost 2 years ago. It is just as comfortable as the first day I slept on it. I’m not sure why this bed has any bad reviews. This is one of the best mattresses I have ever purchased. You need to wait a full 48 hours bedtime sleeping on the mattress. Follow the instructions. This is by far the best purchase I have ever made online. I have no complaints at all about this mattress.

king size bed Love, love

I was pretty skeptical about buying a bed in a box but let me tell you, I was VERY impressed once it all came together. My wife and I own a Tempurpedic "Cloud Luxe" bed, which we purchased around 5 years ago (For like THREE Grand). Ever since having our memory foam bed, the kids were pestering us to buy them one too. (Yeah right… we stuck with Sealy Posturepedics for them over the years and even those cost around 400 a piece.) But my son, who is now 20 and in college needed a new bed and so I did my research and landed on this choice after much reading. The mattress arrived quickly and, though the box was torn and damaged in shipment, the contents were fine. Opening the plastic meant I needed a clear area so the mattress could inflate properly and stay flat during the 48-hr period so, after removing the old bed and box springs, I carefully cut open the seal and rolled it out. It sprung into shape rather quickly and had no deformities. within around a half an hour, the mattress looked like the picture above in the ad. I tested the firmness and was amazed at how "Cushy" it was and, though it was tempting to try it out that night, We let it take shape for the next two nights without my son sleeping on it.I placed the bed on this 10" frame. The platform linked above made for a very sturdy and solid base.My son has slept on it now for the past couple of weeks and ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. He just mentioned again today, out of the blue, "My bed is so comfy!" Which makes me happy.I haven’t slept in the bed of course, but I have laid on it and compared it to my 3,000 Tempurpedic. I have to say, it honestly compares but is a tenth of the price…. Oh, and the two free memory foam pillows are great too.

Finally...I got a good one.

This mattress replaced a Zinus I originally bought about a month ago that had an issue with expanding to it’s complete full size and also a terrible smell that simply would not go away. Thankfully, I’ve had none of those problems this time around. I’m only going to go over the key points that I’ve seen most people ask about in these reviews. First, I’m a 5’8" 170 pound previous stomach sleeper, who is now a full on side sleeper. After researching for what seemed like forever, I decided to replace my old firm mattress with a plush to help alleviate some pressure point problems I was starting to experience since moving to sleeping on my side. I was worried because this mattress started out a little firmer than I had expected from the description, but has broken in very nicely and quickly, to the point where I am almost two weeks in and now it’s about perfect for me. No more soreness in the morning. And by perfect, I mean it’s firm enough to comfortably watch TV in bed, but soft enough for this side sleeper to be perfectly comfortable throughout the night. This bed expanded to it’s full 12" size within 24 hours, and had no discernible odor to speak of at all… You do sink down into the mattress quite a bit, but it doesn’t feel like that "Stuck in the mud" sensation that you sometimes get on full foam beds when trying to adjust your position. There is just the right amount of support for side sleeping and it also sleeps cool, I haven’t had any issues with heat or waking up hot. I should note that this thing is pretty heavy and awkward…I ordered a full size and it was all I could do to get it up two flights of stairs alone. If your ordering a queen or a king and have to move it any distance or have stairs, I would plan on two people if possible. Also, even normal deep pocket sheets will struggle fitting this thing, you have to make sure you get specific ones. I can’t think of anything else to add at the moment, but will perhaps do an update at the six month mark. As of right now though, I would highly recommend this bed to both back and side sleepers, or anyone who just enjoys a plush feeling bed, as I feel the support would be perfect for these folks. I would suggest that stomach sleepers give it a pass and find something firmer. But that’s just my .02…

  1. If you scroll down fat enough it will show you the layers & tell what they are. They also explain layer if you click on more info tap
  2. I feel it does. Yes. Im a big guy 250lbs so create alot of body heat but I remain very comfortable. I wish I would have bought this years ago. I absolutely love this mattress.
  3. I think we both got duds. Mine did the same thing. 12" on ends and10" in middle. Not 14" that's 4 sure!!! And was really too hot to sleep comfortably on. Saved myself a headache and purchased a 4" sorta gel topper. Now I can sleep better.
  4. It depends on the person. I have a plush matress topper and matress pad and have no problem with it feeling hot.
  5. It is recommended by the manufacturer to have a bed frame with slats that have no more than a 2 or 3 inch gap. This allows the mattress to breathe and prevents moisture from getting trapped. This also prevents the mattress from sinking down into those large gaps. I wouldn't recommend using this with a box spring or a large piece of plywood as your base. Stick with slats.
  6. If the product is not what they claim what is the return policy
  7. Not recyclable. I took it to the recycling center and they said it was considered garbage. So, because it was so large, I repurposed it and used it to wrap my sleeping bags in and placed them in the attic.
  8. Cool for a foam mattress... Warmer than a standard coil mattress. Comfortable temp overall.
  9. I have the full one and it def doesn't require one. The trial period is 120 nights. I've had mine for 6 months and I love it.
  10. My husband is 6'3" and weighs 270 and he says it's the most comfortable mattress he has slept on.
  11. It depends on the frame. If you have a flare bottom like wood or metal then no box springs. If the are gaps underneath where the mattress then yes. Simply put, as long as the bottom of the mattress is laying on a flat and hard surface then no box springs necessary. A mattress warranty will be voided if used in conjunction with a frame that has gaps that are more than 3 inches apart.
  12. We got the Metal bed mattress platform with steel slots, fits very good. No box spring needed.
  13. Unroll as soon as you take it out of the box on your bed and give it 24 hours to get to it's normal size then enjoy. Best bed ever!
  14. i would go with the king. That's what I purchased and I'm extremely satisfied with it
